rabbits, lions and hyenas!

elections are nearing and these rabbits remind me of few innocent people of tamilnadu!

what!? elections and rabbits? sounds strange, right?

yes, it is. it is. it is indeed strange!

to make it clear, i shall add the following!!

what if i tell you these carnivores remind me of politicians?

so, now you got the imagery!

but the problem is, politicians donot appear as frightening as these. rather they will make buddha and jesus feel ashamed!

they appear holier, more peaceful than buddha and jesus! remember, appearances deceive!

****************
ok.ok. straight to the point.

as the elections are closing in on, there have been calls for A CHANGE! wonderful, isn't it?

a change!

some people called for a change in the seat of power. i viewed their campaigns with more optimism when they accused dravidian parties of destroying tamilnadu by holding power bilaterally.

not that i agreed with their accusations completely; i have a opinion that, ADMK has nothing dravidian in its principle/practices, except that term 'dravidian' in its name! it never had any original vision for tamilnadu; ADMK was not born with clear motives and vision, but from the ego clash of two leaders-MK and MGR after perarignar ANNA's death. ADMK exploited arignar ANNA's legacy by including his name. so there was no principles at all; but it was necessary for MGR to safeguard himself from MK.

about DMK my opinions are positive, because it was started by arignar ANNA with perfect PRINCIPLES. it took birth as an offshoot of DK; i would simplify it, like......

initially....
DMK == DK + political front

so intially DMK had a clear vision, a road map; it understood the necessary to contest in elections and win political power (without which, principles and policies cannot be implemented actively); it knew it was necessary to hold political power, if it ever wanted to expedite changes in cultural, social, economic fronts of tamilnadu.

but.....as DMK aged, more appropriately as MK aged, slowly these principles were compromised; or watered down; diluted; blunted. DMK has become an old rabbit which cannot protect itself, let alone protecting other rabbits of TN.

later....
DMK == DK + political front - atheism/monotheism + compromises

as i thought it had lost its vigor to give shape to its principle, i thought there shall be a change in the seat of power; more so, since DMK and ADMK had been given chances a number of times!

i thought, mr.VAIKO floated MDMK realising these problems in DMK as well as in tamilnadu's situation. i thought he would champion the causes of OLD DMK stringently under the banner of MDMK;

i stil think.....
MDMK == DK - ANNA - MK + VAIKO

MDMK seems almost SO-in principles, if not practically.

i was not sure, whether this equation was indeed accurate, because mr.VAIKO had never been given power till now; hence cannot be definitely and categorically declared to fit in this mathematical expression. ;-) until seen in action while in power.

even mr. MK was as aggressive as mr. VAIKO before coming to power; once on the seat of power, he may swing this or that side; nobody can definitely say which side.

yet i preferred to a change in that most powerful seat, having seen DMK and ADMK for years; thinking MDMK would be more vigorous in implementing ANNA's ideas than was DMK. so wanted a change.

early DMK's principles can be simplified as..... LIBERTY, EQUALITY and FRATERNITY.

expected mr. VAIKO would follow those principles STRONGER than DMK; hence wanted a CHANGE!

i wanted a change that, RABBITS shall get the POWER to realise their dreams better than under the leadership of those less dedicated lot; i thought mr. VAIKO was a younger and vigorous RABBIT, so would understand the problems and aspirations of these rabbits better than others.

************

but there were others, they also wanted a change in power-seat! but that change was similar to....having hyenas/ wolves ruling TN. THEY(hyenas and wolves) paint a picture that, 'lion and tiger had enjoyed tasting the rabbits for quite longggggggg; now this must change'. now hyenas and wolves want their turn to HAVE MORE POWER TO HUNT authoritatively and taste those rabbits. sooooooooooooooooooooo they wanted a change!

they just wanted the change of power, to their own selfish advantage; they say they would bring in toooooooo many selfless service to the society, BUT...... their activities of recent past has been......HUNTING rabbits!

except in political power, they donot want any change in socio-politico-economic aspects. they could not watch lion/tiger enjoying power over rabbits; in stead wolves and hyenas wanted that power to themselves.

the motive was getting MORE AND MORE FRESH FLESH AND BLOOD OF RABBITS; the motive for asking for a change is NOT out of sympathy for the rabbits which are deliberately&deviously projected to be preyed upon by lion/tiger.

in stead of letting lion/tiger drink the blood of the rabbit; these hyenas and wolves want to drink it. so they want a change!

oh!!! these guys want A CHANGE! how cunning! change they want!

look at their nasty teeth and salivating tongue and mouth!

change! this word can take two rather opposite characters.

raw mango ripening....is a welcome change.but...,
that ripe mango rotting.... is an undesirable change!

anna puts it better.....,
if milk becomes curd, it's good; if that curd gets excessively fermented, it's bad.
young boy growing into a strong, matured man ...is a good change. but a young man, losing sights, bodily strength, losing hair, getting wrinkled face and becoming very old....is a sad change.

it's good to have a change that is progressive, not a regressive one. when there's no progress, even sustaining same standards is better than having a regression.

beware of those change seekers' motives; think and vote wisely!

(will the rabbits argue this way?!

hey idiots, just tell me how does it matter to us rabbits, if we were devoured by lions or hyenas?!
if we want a change, we would not want hyenas in place of lions. because, it is better to get killed honorably by lions in a single shot, than...being eaten half-alive by heynas, dying a protracted, painful death.)

(kindly forgive me, if this line sounds similar to the one whch argued against french revolution; forgot the name of the author; forgot the book also; else i may duly credit them)
