youtube brings in not just interesting videos, but the comments sections chips in a lottttttttttttttttttttttt of beautiful witty comments/ quotes ;-).
i go thro many of them for their opinion on those videos. and then..... happened to read some nice comments for that video as well.
some guys were soooooooo friendly in their comments and there were responses too. and i happen to respond with some comments. here they go......about the language malayalam.
malayalam has a lottttttttttt of similarities with tamil among other dravidian languages. best thing is...malayalam still retains some beautiful, poetic words from sangam period tamil; sadly those words have become almost archaic in tamil colloquial. and.... i must thank your(or our) king சேரன் செங்குட்டுவன் (Chēran Chenkūttūvan/ Vel Kelu Kuttuvan/ Kadal Pirakottiya Senguttuvan Cheran) for encouraging his brother Ilango Adigal for giving us THE SECOND BEST WORK (after thirukural) in entire tamil literature - SILAPPATIKARAM. he also brought stones from himalaya to construct a temple for kannagi-the heroine of the story. the best part of that work is..... it starts cheerfully in chozha kingdom, reaches climax painfully in pandiyan kingdom and has a cathartic end peacefully in chera kingdom. lovely one. personally, i should be grateful for that extraordinary work of 2nd century. historically....there are many many things closely very very closely relating both the languages and regions. knowing those would only blossom a friendship and even more possibly a brotherhood.

it is for creating curiosity among people so that things are analysed completely from every point of view. and, it shall always bring forth the facts to general public's view.
